A natural thermal pool heated to a constant 27 degrees by underground geothermal activity in the Snowy Mountains. The pool sits at the base of a steep valley surrounded by snow gum woodland and is open year-round including through snow season. A well-maintained path with steps descends from the car park to the pool. The contrast of warm swimming in winter with snow on the surrounding hills creates a unique Australian experience.
