Tasmanias most famous waterfall and one of the first nature reserves declared in Australia. Russell Falls cascades in a horseshoe shape over two tiers through a canopy of towering tree ferns and ancient myrtle beech forest. The short walk from the car park is fully accessible and leads through some of Tasmanias finest temperate rainforest.

Know before you go

Wheelchair accessible to the base of the falls. Continue to Horseshoe Falls for a longer walk. Park pass required.
