Cave
Remarkable Cave
7182/446 Safety Cove Rd, Port Arthur TAS 7182
A sea cave on the Tasman Peninsula where waves surge through a tunnel creating dramatic spray and sounds. The cave opening frames a view of the ocean.
Know before you go
This is a sea cave viewed from the outside, not a cave you walk into. A boardwalk and 115 steps drop from the car park to a metal viewing platform at the base; walking into the cave or through the tunnel to the sea is not permitted. Big swell, king tides and a full or new moon can wash over the platform, so check conditions before you descend. A Tasmania Parks pass is required for Tasman National Park.
