Davies Creek Swimming Hole

A beautiful granite-lined swimming hole at the base of Davies Creek Falls in the Wet Tropics World Heritage area. The natural infinity-edge pool sits atop a cliff with views across the Atherton Tablelands far below. Surrounded by open eucalypt woodland rather than dense rainforest giving it a unique character. A quieter alternative to the more popular Cairns swimming spots.

Do not swim near the falls edge. Flash flooding possible after rain. 4WD recommended for the access road in wet season. No mobile reception.
