A picturesque waterfall near the township of Dorrigo in the Northern Tablelands. The falls plunge into a basalt gorge surrounded by subtropical rainforest.
Know before you go
The purpose-built lookout is wheelchair accessible and needs no steps at all. Access to the lower level has been closed at times while other parts of the track stayed open, so check locally before counting on reaching the base. If you do swim there, jumping and diving are not allowed; the water runs cloudy over rock and mud and is more than 2m deep in places.
