Cunninghams Gap
Cunningham Highway, Main Range National Park, Aratula QLD
The saddle where the Cunningham Highway crosses the Great Dividing Range between Aratula and Warwick, and the main walking hub of Main Range National Park, a Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. From The Crest car park at the top of the gap, the Rainforest circuit makes a 1.6-kilometre Grade 3 loop beneath the canopy, while Grade 4 tracks climb the range to Mount Cordeaux and on to Bare Rock. Impressive peaks, escarpments and ridges stand on either side of the pass.
