Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk

A 600-metre elevated walkway through the canopy of giant tingle trees in the Valley of the Giants near Walpole in southwest Western Australia. The walkway rises to 40 metres above the forest floor providing a unique perspective of the ancient tingle forest canopy. These massive trees are found nowhere else on Earth and some are over 400 years old. The Ancient Empire boardwalk at ground level winds among the buttressed trunks of veteran trees.
Know before you go
The walkway sways gently in the breeze which can be unsettling for those with a fear of heights. Open daily. Best visited in the morning before tour buses arrive. The Ancient Empire walk at ground level is wheelchair accessible.
