Waterfall
Trentham Falls
Trentham, Daylesford & Hepburn Springs, VIC
The highest single-drop waterfall in Victoria at 32 metres. The falls cascade over a basalt cliff into a fern-lined gorge in the Wombat State Forest.
Know before you go
You view the falls from the lookout — a 32m single drop over a basalt cliff, the highest in central Victoria. Two paths lead there, one gravel and sloped, one by steps; the gravel path is steep in sections and is not a true all-abilities path, though it suits most people. The toilets are out of action after storm damage and are being rebuilt, so plan around that.
