Coastal Walk
Port Macquarie Coastal Walk
Town Green foreshore to Tacking Point Lighthouse, Port Macquarie NSW
Nine kilometres of path link Town Green on Port Macquarie's foreshore with Tacking Point Lighthouse, tracing the run of beaches along the town's ocean edge. The route takes in Town Beach, Rocky Beach lookout, Nobbys Beach and Harrys lookout above Shelly Beach, with stairs and viewing platforms through the headland sections and several historical sites along the way. In whale season the lookouts double as whale-watching posts. The walk breaks readily into shorter legs, with swimming spots en route and a beachside cafe at Flynns Beach.
