Know before you go

The Namadgi Visitor Centre opens 9am to 4pm on weekdays and 9am to 4.30pm on weekends and public holidays, and takes card only — no cash. Campground bookings go through the centre on 02 6237 5307. Access roads here close for maintenance for weeks at a time and campgrounds close for upgrades, so check the Parks ACT alerts before you drive out. Snow falls on the higher walking tracks in winter.
