The steep, winding drive up from Stanthorpe's shopping district ends at a summit picnic area with mounted binoculars and tables — the town's own panoramic vantage point on the Granite Belt. A short concreted path circles the summit through the trees, unsignposted from the picnic area, opening a clear outlook to the north and filtered views in every direction. Four mountain-bike tracks also run on the mountain, graded from beginner terrain through to black-diamond runs for experienced riders.
