Morialta Falls

Three waterfalls set in a deep gorge in the Adelaide foothills just 10km from the CBD. The First Falls are the most accessible reached via a well-maintained path while the Second and Third Falls require more effort on steeper trails. The conservation park surrounding the falls is home to koalas, kangaroos, and a rich variety of birdlife. Rock climbing is popular on the gorge walls and the area is spectacular after winter rains when the falls are flowing strongly.

First Falls is easy access. Second and Third Falls involve steep sections. Best flow in winter and spring. Rock climbers use the gorge walls so watch for ropes. Dogs on leash on some trails.
