Koonalda Cave

An ancient cave on the Nullarbor Plain containing some of the oldest known finger markings in the world, dating back 20000 years.

Stay with your guide on guided tours. Bring a torch for self-guided caves. Watch your head in low passages. Caves maintain a cool temperature year-round, so bring a light layer. This is a challenging experience requiring good fitness and preparation. Allow extra time and carry emergency supplies.
