Kondalilla Falls
Sunshine Coast Hinterland · QLD
A stunning 90-metre waterfall plunging into a rainforest pool in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The circuit walk descends through subtropical rainforest past ancient trees and giant ferns before reaching the falls and a swimming hole at their base. The name Kondalilla comes from an Aboriginal word meaning rushing waters. The falls are at their most impressive after good rainfall when the full force of the water thunders into the pool below.
Know before you go
The return climb from the base of the falls is steep. Rock steps can be slippery when wet. Best flow after good rain. Allow 2-3 hours for the full circuit.
