Heysen Trail Fleurieu

The coastal section of the Heysen Trail along the Fleurieu Peninsula, with dramatic cliff views over the Southern Ocean.

Check tide times before starting. Carry at least 2 litres of water per person. Wear sturdy hiking shoes, not thongs. Sun exposure is intense along the coast — wear a hat and sunscreen. A moderate level of fitness is recommended. Bring adequate water and wear appropriate footwear.
