A short walk from the Great Ocean Road leads to this clifftop lookout offering dramatic views of sheer limestone cliffs plunging into the Southern Ocean. The layered rock formations resemble castle turrets giving the cove its name. Migrating whales can often be spotted from June to September passing close to the cliffs. One of the less visited lookouts along the coast offering a quieter alternative to the Twelve Apostles.
