Buley Rockhole

Buley Rockhole, Litchfield Park Road, Litchfield National Park

A series of cascading rock pools in Litchfield National Park where warm tropical water flows over smooth sandstone shelves. Each pool is a different size and depth allowing you to find your perfect spot. The natural rock waterslides between pools are a favourite with families and children. Shaded by paperbark trees the rockholes stay pleasantly cool even in the build-up season.

Know before you go

Rocks can be slippery. Supervise children closely around the cascades. Very popular on weekends so arrive early. Check for crocodile warning signs.
